Much as the quadrennial presidential campaign reminds us that the best ideas rarely run smoothly, civilly or on time, this year's Poker Ride date has been harder to pin down than a doping conviction on...... Suffice it to say that now that San Diego has finally finished counting it's grubby little ballots for positions of public office, our grubby little minds have settled on a date to fete the cycling community with breakfast, lunch and a killer bike ride. The Second Annual Swami's-Spy Poker Ride will commence on Sunday, December 9th at 8AM from the World Headquarters of SKLZ at 2081 Farraday Ave in Carlsbad, CA. From there, four-person teams of riders will be dispatched on an adventure to conquer 60 miles and luck's mercurial touch across familiar pavement and unfamiliar trails. The denouement of this epicness will unfold at the World Headquarters of Spy Optics at 2070 Las Palmas Dr. in Carlsbad, where BBQ and Michelob Ultra will await the giving away of awesome prizes for the fastest, luckiest and the just for showing uppiest!
Now is the time to collect your favorite three musketeers and make a team to get in the hunt!
